CableFree 5G (gNB, gNodeB) Base Stations
CableFree 5G Software Defined Base Stations (gNB, gNodeB) with advanced features and “stand alone” capability for private networks. Our 5G NR & LTE BS technology offers latest base station technology and transmit powers up to 4x 40W for high capacity, long range networking, and uses Software Defined Radio technology with easy upgrade to new features and high capacities.
CableFree 5G Base Stations are available as Macrocell and Small Cell (Outdoor and Indoor) versions in all current 5G FR1 bands to meet customer requirements.
CableFree 5G Small Cells
CableFree 5G Small Cells are available in the full range of frequency bands with options for Outdoor and Indoor versions (also termed Picocell) in a current 5G FR1 bands.
5G Small Cells are often used as “infill” for additional coverage and capacity in larger networks, or “stand alone” coverage on campus sites and dense city-scale networks.
CableFree Small Cells are available on 2×2 and 4×4 MIMO options and choice of power level versions

5G CPE Devices
CableFree offers a range of 5G CPE devices to create a 5G environment. CPE devices Features proven interoperability in 5G-SA and 5G-NSA modes and support of multiple bands including n77, n78 and others, and fallback to 4G networks.
Popular versions include a Desktop CPE with 5G modem and 4x GBE ports plus dual-band WiFi for connecting to customer networks.
Outdoor versions of 5G-CPE that supports 5G-SA include the CW5100 which can support POE, n77, n78 bands and advanced features.
4G & 5G Core Networks
CableFree offers 5G Core and related infrastructure for complete 5G-SA and 5G-NSA network solutions. Standard and Micro cores are available, or full Carrier-Grade Cores from our trusted proven partners.
We also offer Edge Compute devices to run the 5G / EPC cores on, as well as our Network Management System (NMS) server.
SIM cards for Private Cellular Networks
CableFree offers a range of SIM cards ideal for private cellular networks. These SIM cards come with a database suitable for import into user database on your core.
Optionally, we can provide branded SIM cards with your chosen logo and data ranges for either private networks or even operator networks. Ideal for smaller operators, ISPs and other types of networks
Network Management System (NMS)
CableFree 5G radios feature advanced NMS with HTTP/browser, SSH, Web Sockets and SNMP management. We offer an optional SNMP management server which can be installed either as a Virtual Machine (VM) or preinstalled on dedicated x86 server hardware. Alternatively, you can use pre-existing/preferred SNMP management servers and add the CableFree 5G MIB for monitoring the CableFree RAN / radio network
Software Upgradable from 4G
CableFree 5G gNodeB base stations can be software-upgraded from an existing CableFree 4G LTE base station, (providing in the same frequency band) significantly preserving investment in infrastructure capital expenditure (CapEx). Also macro networks can be upgraded from 4G to 5G-NSA or 5G-SA with smooth update path.
