Wireless vendor CableFree: Wireless Excellence was founded this day in 1996: back in an era of dial-up internet, the visionary CableFree founders forged a new era of high speed wireless connectivity. Our very first products, launched in 1997, achieved 622Mbps full duplex – a record for the time. From this start we’ve built a global business with wireless networks installed in over 90 countries worldwide, and achieved several world-first deployments of advanced technologies. We’re now a globally-significant 5G vendor, with unique & sophisticated products.

From our headquarters in the UK, CableFree products are now installed and operating around the world, powering large and smaller networks alike, including major-name organisations. Our comprehensive product range offers a “One Stop Shop” for complete wireless networks, including 4G & 5G LTE Networks, Microwave, Millimeter Wave, MIMO Radio, FSO and more.

New launches in 2025 by CableFree include updated 5G Base Stations, SmartPod & SmartPole radios, complete solutions for WISP and operators including Billing Systems and Advanced NMS and Dual-radio Small Cells. CableFree products are designed and manufactured in the UK, in our ISO-9001 facilities.
