CableFree MMW links with 10Gbps per single channel can be aggregated to 2+0 with 20Gbps full duplex and scale up to 40Gbps and beyond with appropriate stacking and installation.

Line-of-Sight distances up to 5km to 2km are possible with CableFree E-Band MMW links, depending on regional climatic conditions.

Latest Generation of Wireless Technology

Using Millimeter Wave (MMW) technology, high capacities are available using E-band “Pencil Beam” with sophisticated 128QAM modulation for the highest capacities and throughputs.  Sophisticated ACM (Adaptive Coding and Modulation) in the MMW links allows the radios to adapt the modulation to conditions to ensure high uptime at full distance even in the worst weather conditions – by adjusting modulation and capacity to suit.

ACM will adapt automatically from BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM, 32QAM, 64QAM and 128QAM as required.

 

Compact MMW Full Outdoor Radio units

The 10Gbps radio units are compact, and clip directly onto the antennas for neat, compact “Zero Footprint Radio” (ZFR) deployments on rooftop and tower sites.

Even in 2+0 configuration the space occupied is tiny, enabling dense co-location of links on congested rooftops and towers.

10Gbps SFP+ Ethernet interfaces

The 10Gbps links feature SFP+ interfaces which can plug directly to core and edge router devices in a typical telecom or corporate network.

The links are fully transparent to network traffic and do not use any compression or other techniques to achieve the full 10Gbps full duplex capacity.

SFP+ modules are available with Short Haul, Long Haul as well as CWDM and DWDM module options to allow direct interface with fibre optic infrastructure and networks.
